"Contusión", de Sylvia Plath

Fluye color hacia el lugar, púrpura opaco.
El resto del cuerpo está desgastado por entero,
El color de la perla.

En un hoyo de una roca
El mar obsesivamente sorbe,
Un vacío todo el eje del mar.

El tamaño de una mosca,
La marca del destino
Repta hacia abajo por el muro.

El corazón se cierra,
El mar se desliza retornando,
Los espejos están velados.

Contusion

Color floods to the spot, dull purple. / The rest of the body is all washed-out, / The color of pearl. // In a pit of a rock / The sea sucks obsessively, / One hollow thw whole sea's pivot. // The size of a fly, / The doom mark / Crawls down the wall. // The heart shuts, / The sea slides back, / The mirrors are sheeted.
